What Works For Me 32/365 Finding the music that we love!

Gerald was a tall giraffe whose neck was long and slim.

But his knees were awfully bandy and his legs were rather thin.

So begins the wonderful book Giraffes Can’t Dance by Giles Andreae which I have been sharing in Pre-School.  The children and enjoy it and I always cling to the last words, “We all can dance,” said Gerald, “When we find music that we love.”  That is a wonderful wonderful challenge as an educator.  To help every child child find “the music that they love”.

If you haven’t even seen this book please click on the link and enjoy the video.  It is one of the best children’s stories ever written.
